UTK MSA Umrah Sponsorship Application

The University of Tennessee Muslim Student Association is offering one UTK student the opportunity to perform Umrah at no personal cost. UTK MSA will cover all approved expenses associated with the trip.

The trip will be accompanied by qualified teachers and leaders who will guide participants through the Umrah process and provide spiritual and practical support throughout the journey.

Our goal is to provide this opportunity to a student who sincerely wishes to perform Umrah but may not otherwise have the financial ability or opportunity to attend.

Please answer every question honestly and thoughtfully. Writing ability, grammar, and vocabulary will not be the primary factors considered. Responses will be evaluated based on sincerity, personal circumstances, readiness, and the potential impact of the experience.

Original Work and AI Policy

All written responses must be completed entirely by the applicant. The use of any artificial intelligence tool to generate, write, rewrite, or substantially edit an applicant’s responses is prohibited.

Applications containing responses that UTK MSA reasonably believes were generated or substantially edited using artificial intelligence may be removed from consideration.

Basic spelling and grammar tools may be used, provided they do not generate or rewrite the applicant’s response.

Submitting an application does not guarantee selection. The selected student must meet all travel requirements, submit requested documents by the stated deadlines, attend required preparation meetings, and follow the instructions of the teachers and trip organizers.
